A suitably hacked (to include DuGris' SecurityImage) Liaise is running just fine onhttp://valentinewalton.co.uk. a 2.0.16 site. Search the forums here to details on how to hack liaise for this.

I checked that site out, yes the contact form is nicely done with Liaise, including that security image.

Found a topic called Has anyone got Security Image working with Liaise? , which seems to have all the info.

Okay, it still seems hooked into a 'user id', but at least I can setup a (sales) person, and then use _that_ email address for Liaise, negating the need to 'hide' the 'webmaster/admin' email address (it can be changed to a dummy email address).

Thanks to everyone for all your help. :)

I hacked Contact module to include Dugris' SecurityImage and show itself only if the user is not registered.

If you want it, just send me a private msg with your email address.

I've written a simple contact module with optional image verification and a random question/answer verification thingy.

it's available here.

I decided to use Liaise, and need to add the 'Image Security' function to it.

I noticed in the (new) modules list, that the Dugris ImageSecurity wasn't accepted, as it is still in beta.

Are there any other 'image security' modules or hacks that can be applied to Liaise ?

Have previously done a lot of searches, this is very little about how to hack Liaise with the securityimage module, but I did mention one thread here

BUT as I replied in that thread ...

It doesn't seem to be clear to me, if anyone got the security image hack working with Liaise 1.26 and XOOPS 2.0.16 ??

Also, the SecurityImage is not 'final' yet, still beta.

In my humble (okay - not!) opinion, this contact module has all of the features being discussed, and quite a few customizations for the contact form built in as options. Give it a try.

Liaise and Securityimage works on XOOPS 2.0.16 - seehttp://valentinewalton.co.uk amongst other sites. I got it working by following my own instructions, previously posted on this website. See HERE

You could have found this by searching for liaise AND securityimage

As for securityimage only being Beta. If you wait for it to get to 'final' you could be in for a long wait. Get on and use it it is my best advice.

Okay thanks, I will check it out (although I already have Liaise installed and made a few minor mods).
