Please note this is not a hack or my own code. I was having trouble getting x_movie for awhile, lucky for me today I found the new(?) working version of x_movie 1.7 custom 2.3 in Japanese, after a bit of copy/cut/paste....

Changelog:
Clean up English language file.
Changed url download for Real, Quicktime & Windows Media player.

remember to:
Use frontend to upload movie, DO NOT use backend to upload movie it doen't playback some how?!?!
x_movie\list.php doesn't work if you how please let me know.

Download Here - Demo here it works with youtube if you upload via the frontend.

I have been having problems with this module not uploading at all from the front end. I'm using 2.0.16 and php5/mysql5.

Thanks for this release. I have been cleaning up the code and will post it later today.

This version seems to work for me on uploading.

Hey James,

I am getting a black background in x_movie after updating using the mod from your website. Could you look in and see if you are getting the same thing? I have reverted back to previous mod.

Hi this seems exactly the module I am looking for, my problem is:

Seems like I can't actually upload any videos. I tried puting in a video from gofish.com and youtube.com but it does not display the video. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

For both of them I just copyed the embed URL found on the respective website.

Any help would be appreciated,

thanks.

Just to add, the problem I am having is uploading through the frontend (The website itself) I am trying to pretty much embed the video. I get an error saying URL ERROR

not sure what it means..

Yeah, the upload is a problem. I haven't had any time to look at it and even try to figure it out. Does anyone know of of an official development site for this module in english?

When you're embedding a video, are you using the embed url, or the full embed code? You need to use the entire code to get it to work.
