Hello!

I'm trying to insert the code of google adsense in a block, I only paste the code but in the preview makes an error in the bottom of page:
");win.document.writeln("");win.document.writeln("");win.document.writeln("");win.document.writeln(""); win.focus(); win.document.close(); //-->

This is with "html" and "auto format" mode, but with "php" the block is empty, only with the title.

The code I insert is:

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
google_ad_client = "pub-0356629620476065";
google_ad_width = 336;
google_ad_height = 280;
google_ad_format = "336x280_as";
google_ad_type = "text_image";
google_ad_channel = "";
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.15.

Somebody can help me? Thanks a lot!!

You should have the block set as HTML only. Do you get this error if you submit the block, or only with the preview?

Just a question, the code you pasted above, isn't the full code is it, eg. the code you paste in the block should have a bit more to it.

Have you shortened the code for posting in this forum or is that code above the actual code you are pasting in the block.

Sorry just wanted to clarify because adsense works fine for me using the html option. When I create the same sized ad as you have it has a few more lines to it, this is why I wanted to clarify.

Cheers ;o)

This is all the code from google adsense. I only cut & paste.
And if submit the block not show error, but not show the block in the page.

Help!

Thanks!

Re: Problem with google adsense

Ok maybe the ads I create are longer because of "custom pallettes" they show link, text, url, border and background colours in the code.

I can't remember what the default google ad pallette looks like, maybe that code is the default code?

My code has these extra lines

google_color_border = "336699";
google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
google_color_link = "0000FF";
google_color_text = "000000";
google_color_url = "008000";

Cheers ;o)

Hmmm...have you checked that your custom block is set to display on your home page, and also have you set the group permissions so that anonymous users can see it?
