Looking for a module that I could add, myself a recipe and drink, etc of the week/day kinda thing. Maybe have visitors submit to me too and I approve. It would be nice to have one module for multiple entries instead of multiple modules, so I don't have all the links on the left.

Try this: https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=43&lid=1524

If that's not what you're looking for, I've modified SmartFactory's smartsection module to handle recipe management. Let me know if you need it.
