I have noticed that the most recent version of good modules are NOT listed in the module repository. Do most module writers have their own site? In general, what is the best source for the latest modules?

My method has been to do a google search on the modules listed in the module repository, but perhaps there is a better way?

Personally, I like to use modules that are in active development.

So, in the spotlight section, click on Modules and go through all the modules released in the last 12 months. From there you will make yourself a nice little list of current module devs and their website, then keep an eye on both here and there. lol

Cheers.

Greetings,

Some of the modules have an "update module" link. This seems to be the case for "Smartfactory" modules. Otherwise, it seems that the updates are generally posted first on the developers own site. Generally, the developers site is mentioned in the forums or under "comments" section for that particuluar module on this site. Once you find them all, make a list so that you don't have to look them up again.

Good Luck!
