Advice asked for upgrading WFsections to...??....

Hello folks,

Today I asked my host to upgrade my accounts to php 5. They moved me to a server with php 5 and I got a blank page. Through xoopsinfo/admin/rescue.php I could turn on debug: a fatal error which had something to do with WFsections.

Pity, such a great module is now becoming antique it seems....

My questions:

1) Which current module for content/article management do you advice/works great for you for a site with 150 + articles in several categories?

2) Does anyone or any content/article module have a script to import articles from WFsections? Any advice on that?

Hervet, dev for News' module, use php5/mysql5 for his professional and community sites Instant-Zero.

I think that is possible migrate wfsection to news.

In smarsection'admin, you have a link for import from wfsection articles to smartsection

Can you send me the scripts of WFsections you are using?
I am building conversion scripts to the "article" module

I think this is for WF-Section 1 at the moment.

That's excellent news.

I'd love to see one for the original "Section" module if that's at all possible?

@christian: I'll download Smartsections one of these days and try if davidl2 is right or wrong.

I read that the articles module is also a widely used module.

Since I'm awake now, tried right away. Nice module, smartsection!! Indeed an import option, but it says

i have 2000+ articles in xfsection 1.12 at my site.

Oops, 2000+.......
So I have nothing to complain about with my 'miserable' 200+ articles....

I finished the conversions with:
wfsection, xfsection, sections, news, smartsection => article

and
article => news, smartsection

If anyone can help me test before public release, please let me know so that I can send you the converter scripts.

And if you have any other content modules to convert with (import or export) "article", also let me know.
