Today i just see this topic PHP121, Instant Messaging System for Xoops!!
personally i dont like any IM but:
some weeks ago someone from xoops.ir point me to ali talk from alilg.com so i wrote a little bridge to xoops.
here is an screen shot:

the bridge reads from xoops_users table so your users can login in the chat system.
full package is available for download from: xoops.ir - ali chat version 1.9.11 (just click on the green arrow)

No this is a bridge.
you install your XOOPS site separately in a domain or directory as normal
then install ali talk at another domain or directory as normal.

then login to ali talk administration area and choose to read users from your XOOPS site.

its very easy just test and see.

@ irmtfan Thank you for creating the bridge to XOOPS users,
I gave it a try and it installed with no problems, looks good.

@ DarinAllan, you can use the iFrame module to pull alitalk into your XOOPS site...

just i've a problem !the texts are not well aligned!

ps: i've tried to install it without the bridge and it works good .

the css and images was modified for persians.(RTL
for other lanuguages please use the original CSS and images located at:
style\style.css
pix\*.*

also all changes in the core of alitalk package could be found by search "irmtfan"
