Sounds like you are confusing "templates" and "themes".

There is a comprehensive FAQ section on themes and templates. It should answer most, if not all of your questions.

Also, try searching this site, as these questions have been asked and answered many times before.

You can change these settings in the System General Preferences.

Re: Template Prublem!

Faq's that will help with the look of your theme - top and bottom:
here, here, for flash, xoops tag at bottom, change theme at top of site.

Siindre - this is the last time I will search for you. You need to get a little more independent - we don't always have the time to do it for you. Since your theme has text You probably need to look for the specific text you wish to change in the file rather than a logo.jpg but the place to go looking is most likely the same.

please observe this:

Please help us help you: have you done this?
Before posting please do a search in the XOOPS top right "Search" box using appropriate "keywords" and find out if the subject has been dealt with before. Also look through the FAQ’s, especially if you're unsure what search words to use.

I couldn’t find any related issues by searching what next?
From the read before you post link below.

Ok, I said ill post a answer after work and here I am,
lol

looks like you have WDC_006 theme.
Nice theme....

the site name and slogan can be found in your admin panel under Preferences , then System General Preferences.
same place you were at when you selected your theme. its just above it.

The links in your header menu can only be changed in your WDC_006 / theme.html file.

look for this string of code:
<td colspan="2" bgcolor="#E6E6E4" align="right">
        <
table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" height="25px" width="450px">
            <
tr><!-- this is the header menuhere you will need to edit the names and the url's to rederect your visitors -->
                <td id="headmenuleft" align="center" width="10%"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/" class="menuHead">Home</a></td>
                <td id="headmenu" align="center" width="10%"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/news" class="menuHead">News</a></td>
                <td id="headmenu" align="center" width="10%"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/newbbex" class="menuHead">Forum</a></td>
                <td id="headmenu" align="center" width="10%"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/wmpdownloads" class="menuHead">Downloads</a></td>
                <td id="headmenu" align="center" width="10%"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/weblinks" class="menuHead">Links</a></td>
                <td id="headmenu" align="center" width="10%"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>modules/xoopschat" class="menuHead">Chat</a></td>
                <td id="headmenu" align="center" width="10%"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>modules/archcontact" class="menuHead">Contact us</a></td>
                <!-- end header menu -->
            </tr>
        </table>
        </td>

Just replace the cerrent url's with your desired url's and change the names to the names you perfer.

let me know if this helped.
