I need a CMS that allows me to have a menu like what you see on the left column on http://www.ida.ca/whatsnew_en.asp . Like that menu, I need a main menu on the left column and I need sub-menus to appear on mouse-over.

Can I do this with Xoops? If so, which modules should I install and where do I find these modules?

Thanks for your help!

Yeh MultiMenu is the best menu system with tons of diffrent styles of menu to choose from, top nav and pop up on right click also...so that can be used to suit your need also has 8 +2 menus can be displayed at once if needed. or 16 menus also

Download here

Thanks for your reply! I will check out that multiMenu module.

The sub-menu links will take the user to various pages, obviously. I want to enable the Site Administrator to upload PDF documents to these various pages so that users can download these PDF documents. Which module should I use to do that and where can I find this module?

I installed the multiMenu module to http://tomwu.com , but I haven't been able to make the menu work like the menu on http://www.ida.ca/whatsnew_en.asp . I can't seem to get a submenu to appear when I hover over "multiMenu 01".

As you can see on http://tomwu.com , I'm able to get links to appear when I hover over "Test1", but they are appearing below "Test1" instead of to the right side. How can I make them appear to the right side?

Also, if I have to use "Test1", then I like to have it replace "multiMenu 01". Is this possible?

You have a blocks admin, in the block admin are controls for name of multimenu and setting of what sort of menu...

The style of the menu to get the same look will need editing of the CSS to match...if you are doing multiple themes; you can blank out the menu lines of the css in the templates you are using..// and add these into each theme you are working with...our top navigation is done like that, so each theme matches...plus you have to edit the theme as instructed in multimenu's built-in instructions....to make any left block named nav to be the top nav...

Hope that helps, and any download/upload system...maybe asking that as indervidual question or searching the forum's and google of XOOPS to find stuff helps, as adding PDF as you need will have been answered loads of times....
