Hi preachur ...
- The MultiX is able to do what you want. Really in the university where i work i have implemented MultiX just like you want.A main site (
http://multix.blog.unq.edu.ar ) has in the user table all the university users... an the other sites ( like
http://gpilla.blog.unq.edu.ar or
http://leonardo.blog.unq.edu.ar )... uses that
table ot take the users...
- The hack not necesary need to have all the tables in same database with diferents prefixes... they can be in diferent db but the db should have the same user and pass...
- With the hack you also can administrate the themes and modules for each site...
- The only problem maybe for you ( not in my case ) ... is that MultiX cant admin the sessions, for example if you login in http.//multix.blog... and you want to change to
http://gpilla.blog... you shouldl login again... the problem is that the session cookie has the name of the site inside... Once i read somewhere that was a hack to make that issue work... maybe someelse knows...

Everyone can test that the hack is working... using the next user and pass to login in the pages writen before.
user:xoopstest
pass:xoopstest

Luck with your problems... and ask me again if you want...
NOTE: i am making a new realease of the hack... with some important changes ... it will be ready in a week...
