adsense code in the news article itself...???

...in another thread i found out how to make content flow around images or having left and right column type in an article using css float:right

i want to put adsense code in here..so in the article..the content is on the left and the adsense square box is on the right ..so far it hasnt worked..when i put the adsense code..it shows blank..

any ideas ??

Thats adsense code between scoop and extended text.

I want like content on left and adsense code on right..like a table with left and right columns..

any ideas ?

I tried that..the adsense box just doesnt show up..

i guess because its a javascript and thats not working inside the news article..

do we need to handcode it just like it has been done for getting adsense code between scoop and extended text ??

Some text editors (kiovi) filter out scripts to prevent malicious activity. You might try using dhtml editor with html enabled.

Cloning and editing the news_article.html template will allow you to display the ad before or after the article.
Don't forget to refresh the news module in modules/system admin.

Hacking article.php ( thread) to display the ad between scoop and story is another option but it will make upgrading the module more difficult.
