I just moved my site to a new server

http://www.cavsworld.com

since I moved it, I can no longer add images to an album. I ftp's a folder of images like I always do, but when I got to batch add them, instead of getting thumbnails, I get a image not found question mark graphic.

This is the URL for the blank image.

This page tells me about the php on the new server

I'm using the latest 2.2.x of XOOPS and this worked on the previous server that was also using PHP 5.0.4

Do you upload to a user-gallery or to a public one?

Turn on the PHP and Mysql-Debug and report the errors when uploading the pics.

it doesn't even get far enough to pick an album - the page in batch upload pictures doesn't even show the thumbnails.

I tried turning on the debug flags and only had two errors in file init.inc.php

$HTTP_COOKIE_VARS undefined and
$HTTP_SERVER_VARS undefined

I replaced them with
$_COOKIE
$_SERVER

the errors went away, but it's still not working.

Have you double checked your xcgallery preferences? I remember having some difficulty similiar to what you describe, expecially with the thumbnails. I had to set mine to GD version 2x and it began to work properly. I can't recall if I had to clear template_c and update the module too.

thanks for the suggestion - there must have been something wrong with my GD install or path, I switched the preference to ImageMagick and it now works.

Now I need to figure out the watermark feature - I'd like to put my cavsworld logo in the corner of downloaded images. People use them for their desktop wallpaper, so I should get some advertising on them.
