If you like my sites, I have a new service I've set up to let you quickly build your own affiliate stores.

http://www.4thclick.com

It'll take a little bit of work to integrate it with xoops, which I can do if there's interest. If so, send mail to

thanks for the suggestion - there must have been something wrong with my GD install or path, I switched the preference to ImageMagick and it now works.

Now I need to figure out the watermark feature - I'd like to put my cavsworld logo in the corner of downloaded images. People use them for their desktop wallpaper, so I should get some advertising on them.

I tried turning on the debug flags and only had two errors in file init.inc.php

$HTTP_COOKIE_VARS undefined and
$HTTP_SERVER_VARS undefined

I replaced them with
$_COOKIE
$_SERVER

the errors went away, but it's still not working.

it doesn't even get far enough to pick an album - the page in batch upload pictures doesn't even show the thumbnails.

I just moved my site to a new server

http://www.cavsworld.com

since I moved it, I can no longer add images to an album. I ftp's a folder of images like I always do, but when I got to batch add them, instead of getting thumbnails, I get a image not found question mark graphic.

This is the URL for the blank image.

http://www.cavsworld.com/modules/xcga ... e1%2FIMG_0074.JPG&size=48

This page tells me about the php on the new server

http://www.cavsworld.com/test.php

I'm using the latest 2.2.x of XOOPS and this worked on the previous server that was also using PHP 5.0.4

I solved it - somehow in the upgrade process, my html got changed where all single quote characters were replaced with \' and that caused the scripts to not work. My guess is the way they are stored/retrieved was changed.

I upgraded from XOOPS 2.0.x to 2.2.x and everything went fairly smoothly except custom blocks that I created that are html blocks don't display anything.

This is on my site http://www.cavsworld.com

See the countdown to opening night block - it's supposed to be displaying a countdown timer, but instead displays nothing.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

rss module?

is there a module that will take external rss feeds, merge them, and display the contents of the feeds?

what I want to do is update my site - http://www.cavsworld.com - and take this feed

http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/rss.xml

and a couple of others and display the latest headlines and have the module automatically gather the latest updates to the feeds?

Also, is there a better way to do this? Is there a way to display the latest news stories as content of my site instead of just the headlines?
