Hi, is there a way to make it so when you log in you go to the page you were previously on? (e.g. instead of going back to the home page) if there is a way please let me know.

If you use the login block, this is the case. If you use the login page, you get sent to the homepage, IIRC.

So, is there anyway that I can change it so it goes to the page that you were just viewing? Or does it have to go to the homepage?

Here is a link for you which is probably just what you are looking for micaj. I am not sure exactly how it works but check it out. It looks like you can add any url to the value field in the template file as indicated in the linked thread below. ie; value="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/welcome" />
Still it is a preset redirect. How you can make that into a redirect back to the page they actually logged in from I am not sure. But hey-it's a start.
