is there any way to suspend/ban users for a set amount of time if they do something thats against the sites tos?

has that!

Why does XOOPS doesn't have that ?

I think to do that it would require a module that would edit the user file so they would be set to inactive, and then prevent them from resending their activation code. It could be done, but then no one could resend their activation code. I am not sure, a someone more familiar with php would know for sure.

Skills? Yes. Time to do free development? No.

If you really need this then I would be able to supply it on a paid basis.

Why does XOOPS doesn't have that ?


Because: 1) There has been no requests for this to my knowledge (and that would mean more than just 1 request)

2) There are many more advanced features that have been implemented at the core level in Xoops, than this

3) The XOOPS core is being enhanced so this can be done with ease at a future date.

If you want to see this feature, please make a request at the proper place then they will be looked at in time.
