I'm involved in rescuing a web site. It was developed by another programmer, who has left tht country and is no longer available for consultation (believe me, I tried).

I now have the web site up and running here:
http://www.coloradobridetv.com/html/

It seems like it is working fine.

However...
If you go to
this page, and click on any of the links in the main content area, you get an error message that says "Could not connect with server."

Anyone have an idea what I need to do next?

Looks like I may not be able to login as an Administrator to turn on the debug feature. The "rank" of the login I have is "Webmaster."

What is the default username for the admin? I've been trying every password that I have, but maybe the username I'm using is wrong.

Xoops is running fine, but one of the modules seems to be messed up.

Here's all the info that I gleaned using the XOOPS Info File:

Website URL: http://www.coloradobridetv.com/html
XOOPS Version: XOOPS 2.2.3 Final
XOOPS Theme: MASTER_THEME
XOOPS Template Set: default
PHP Version: 4.3.11
MySQL Version: 4.0.27-max-log
Server Software: Apache
User's Browser:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6

Any help at all would be most appreciated!!!

I'm not sure I understand this correctly. Are you logging in or aren't you? You say you have the rank of Webmaster. You must be logged in? Right?
Do you have an administration or Admin link button in the User Menu?

Yes, I have an administration menu in the left bar after logging in. Once I click it, I get a top Nav menu with these options:
Actions
Preferences
Modules
Blocks
Users
Misc.Tools

However, clicking on Preferences gets me nowhere, and I don't get a dropdown menu like I do for other nav items.
