I need to change the background color of my default templates, how? I've edited everything else, new graphics, edited .css etc.... but the main background color is still white.
Can someone tell me where to edit this?

As far as I remember, there's a body define in
/modules/system/style.css

But you shuld be able to make a new body definition in your theme.

It could be in a couple of places. The most common place is in the style.css normally located at the top as the first css entry.

body {background: white;}

The system module stylesheet is usually set with a transparent background. I wouldn't bother with it.
