Accessing Admin Page after initial install of Xoops 2.14

Hi,
I have just installed the new version of XOOPS 2.14 and am having some problems getting to the Admin Screen. I can log in and click on Admin in the usermenu. Then I get the standard screen "This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed". I do so, and I get the same screen reloading over and over again, and I get no further.

Hope someone can help

Thanks, but I am not sure I understand. This is more a bug than a FAQ. For some reason the adminmenu.php isn't being created. I have made sure that the permissions on the cache folder are 777 among others but its just not generating the file.

Thanks for any further direction you can give me

I"m having this exact same problem too.. Not sure why, but it seems to be stuck in an endless loop..

- try a different browser
- change browser security settings and see if your firewall allows referers
