Having a problem with debaser and long file names. If the names are too long, they get truncated and the file extension is removed.

The files can't be renamed. They have to follow a certain naming convention. Tinyurl doesn't work. It allows the files to be downloaded, but not played by the media players.

Does anyone know where I can change the filename length limitations in debaser?

May I ask you how long your filenames are?

Hello frankblack,

I told you you were psychic.

Here's an example:
http://files.otr-board.com/AcademyAwardTheater/Academy Award Theater 46-07-03 (15) The Maltese Falcon.mp3

I can shorten the folder name, but it didn't help. I also tried to use a tinyurl for http://files.otr-board.com/AcademyAwardTheater/ and added the filename afterward. It allowed me to download, but still won't let me play the file.

The actual filename has to be in this format. It's the naming convention used by collectors - helps identify files.
