Cannot log into own site.

I get this error:

'Sorry, there is no article to display.'

and then the page continues to refresh itself.

Hi

You have set the articles module as start module and there are no articles to display, so the article module redirects you to the XOOPS root url which redirects you to the articles module....

Typehttp://your_xoops_url/admin.php and change the start module under System >> General Settings

there are items to display. It works for my other webmaster. Just refreshes for me. I may have to get her password in and see what happened. But stil this is bizzare. Can this mod not be used on home page?

afterglow, I believe birdseed is correct. You may also need to check group permissions. You may not be allowing anonymous access to the module.

As birdseed suggests, go tohttp://your_xoops_url/admin.php and login using an administrator account and check the group settings.

Thanks for everyone trying to help. But loading the site just starts with
"You do not have permission.."

and then reverts to

'Sorry, there is no article to display.
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here
'

Never allowing me a login page to begin with.

Just edited this post to say that nothing worked but my other webmaster was able to assign another module on the home page. For some reason smartsection did not want to be there. Then I was able to login again.

Thanks for everyone's input though. I really appreciate the efforts.
