At the risk of stating the obvious. Have you cleared your /cache and /templates_c directories?

You might want to use an ftp client and make sure the files look right - for example that the files are there and look like they're the right size.

yes have emptied both dir's. no change....
I use filezilla, so that should be good and have also uploaded some backupfiles, which i know to be good from my system to the server. still no affect...

Is it possible, that making a change to the wiwimod page, that was on index, it could create such problems ?
But if so, why can't i login anymore?
(the login/logout system block is not visisble though, i use the login-link form the header, could that be the problem - [edit]probably not -> turned it to visible in db, it is visible but same result.[/edit]???)

You need to supply this info...the gurus around here can't guess what your php version is or your MySQL version is...etc..

Ok...you need to go through thr debug steps. Assuming you can login and get to site admin, click system menu, general preferences and using these tutorials turn on each of the debugs and follow johns instructions. Take your time...follow the tutorials one click at a time. HTH

What your helpers here need are errors and warnings. PHP notices are of no issue to your site. After you have followed the tutorials if there is something you did not understand or could not reolve copy and paste the results here.

I also suggest you look at all of Johns other XOOPS tutorials.

That is just the problem......

I CAN't login. Everytime i go to the index page get this error. Every time i try to login, get the same error.
So, i turned on debug in config table (db), but that doesn't help if i can't login to the system.....

if i click on the register now & login link it it just shows the index.php with this error. I can view and acces all public pages.

I really need to get the site going again and be able to login, so i can continue to set up the site.

Martin
