I've been trying to add new ranks with their own images, and even trying to change the existing rank images.

I've even updated the System module after updating them just in case. But I still get nothing.

Is it possible with XOOPS 2.2.3 Final to update the User Rank images?

Thanks!

I guess I'm gonna have to bump this?

Anyone any ideas?

When I try to create a new user group or change an existing user group's rank image, it just won't change. I've even tried to update the module and it still doesn't help.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

you mean that you upload the new image and it doesn't change?

it might help if you clear out the templates_c folder and also clear your browser's cache. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you

Check the dimensions of the image you are uploading. If its too wide or tall, XOOPS may disallow it.

I am having this same problem and can't find a solution anywhere in the forum.

I can create new ranks, but the image won't upload. I can edit old ranks but can't change the image. XOOPS tells me that I everything is sucessful after I hit submit, but still no image. I am forced to go into my FTP and change the picture that way. I cannot make new ranks though cause there is no image to replace. I even did a view source to see if it linked to a broken image and there is no HTML there for the new rank.

Please help!

your image is probably to big.

Edit the hardcoded values '120', to allow the size of image you're trying to upload, at the end of ..

$uploader = new XoopsMediaUploader(XOOPS_UPLOAD_PATH, array('image/gif', 'image/jpeg', 'image/pjpeg', 'image/x-png'), 100000, 120, 120);

on lines 89 and 122 of modules/system/admin/userrank/main.php
