I would appriciate your help for the following.
during the installation, the process is checking for the files chmod,... and then I'm asked to fill in the DB infomations....
after that I'm prompt with the following error message...

Can someone please help me out, I already installed this on sunday 20the of mai and had no problem and I wanted to restart a clean version but it doesn't work....

This happens alot with my clients, Only when they are using PHP5 though oddly enough, have them switch over to PHP 4.4.3 and install works, then they switch back over the 5 if they need to. Also happens when the dont enable write permissions to that file.

Check 'read b4u post' below - we need the info so we are not guessing your versions.
