Knock On Effects of Renaming Register.php File

For reasons I won't bore you all with here, I have a requirement to periodically (every month or two) change the name of the registration page on one of my sites. It runs XOOPS 2.0.13.2.

If, for example, I renamed the register.php file to something else (like 'new_registration_page.php'), what else would I need to change in my site to ensure it all still worked OK?

Any help much appreciated. Cheers

hiya Ted.

there's a few files you would need to edit, aswell as templates i think.. i can't remember off hand, but i'll find out..

you could really do with a great little tool called 'advanced search and replace'

it will search all files in a specified path and either display all occurences in each file of your requested search string, or it can globally search all files & replace the string automatically..

it saves a lot of work.. i'll try and get you the link for it.

ok here's a list of files that reference register.php

register.php
pmlite.php
modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_login.html
include/registerform.php

remember to clear templates_c and update system module in admin after making the changes.

Hey Monty, thank you so much.

Just to check, what you're saying is that if I just change all occurances of the text 'register.php' in my site files with 'my_new_filename.php' and obviously change the file name itself from register.php to 'my_new_filename.php' that should work (as long as I update System module and lfush cache folders?)
