Does anyone have any experience using or running XAMPP for Windows Version 1.5.1 on a windows operating system and making the permissions for XOOPS to work on a local windows machine?

I am running Xampp for testing on WinXP (NTFS) without setting any special files/directory permissions.

Admittedly with admin login on that machine though.

right click, properties. untick the read only box.

I have made sure that the read only is not on any files, I am not logged in as adminstrator.

I get errors like this on every page at the bottom:

also alot of the front page blocks are loading blank.??? any ideas.

Which XOOPS version?

Are using just the XOOPS core, or do you also have third-party modules installed?

possibly switch to php 4 using xampps phpswitch utility in the menu.
