I am wanting to make the templates width smaller on my site http://www.chariscore.net/ how do I do that?

Download a copy of the template out of the templates folder or get a copy off your computer....... edit this.....Upload it to the site...... upgrade the module to refresh its templates....Job done...... should have updated it to how you edited it.

Which template and what do you need to edit?
If it is a module, it will be in the modules, templates folder.
If it is a block for a module, in the modules, templates folder, blocks.

I am using fydarkblack, I am wanting to make the blocks smaller, as well as the middle body section.

That's a theme, not a template.
But you can do what you want to do, you will have to edit style.css and theme.html in the theme folder for the theme you're using. I'm not familiar with that theme, so i'm not sure exactly where you need to edit.
