Hi everyone, just installed Xoops

i am gettin the following errors on bottom of my page.

can anyone help me. i installed XOOPS directly from my control panel.

Those are just notices letting you know that there are some "grammatical" errors in the code written by the developer. Turn of phpdebug in System-->Preferences-->General Settings. If you see Error or Warning, then you have problems.

bmdesai1987 - if it's 2.2.4 you've installed, and you've only just started using it, it may be better to re-install 2.0.13.2 instead.

2.0.13.2 will be easier to update to future versions, where 2.2.4 users will have to wait slightly longer.

The msgs are mainly caused by the unfriendly upgrade of PHP itself.

I was going to report this as well. I've been experiencing these notices in XOOPS since my host's upgrade to PHP 4.4.2.

PHP 4.4.x doesn't like ampersands in front of queries, function names, nor objects.

Looking forward to the release of compatible code.
