I tryed 2 install that hack but do not see anything like a popup.

xoops 2.2.3 - can it be possible that there have 2 do some changes because the pm is now a module under modules/pm ?!

If yes ... WHAT?! i need it urgent plz!

I'm using IPB, but i'm not in need of a pop-up windows, but I need just a way to include a simply plain text showing the existence of new private messages .... to show an animated gif in the header for example ....

any help? IPB uses his own PM system, so I cant use any of this good hacks.

Peter, it works for me in 2.2.3Final, do you have a popup blocker set up?

I haven't tried with IPB.
I'll work on it.
