Basically I want to use this for a company so that they can place their polices/procedure in a simply to use tool which users can search and use.

Currently the company has it in a word document but it is very slow to open and makes it hard for people to find.

So I'm looking for a module which the staff can use.

For example:

A new staff member doesn't know how to make a invoice. So they could open the module and then type in invoice. It would then display the procedure on how to write an invoice and also maybe some related things like: when you an give a duscount.

Anybody know of such a module?

Smart FAQ module:

create categories, set permissions for submissions of guestions and answers, you get a good spread of functions in writing answers including links, images font functions, and you can link them contextually with other modules in the website.

SmartFAQ is the result of multiple ideas from multiple people and a work of outstanding collaboration. It all began with Herko talking to me about a 'contextual help system' for XOOPS, inspired by the one on the Developers Forge. I found that idea more than brilliant, so I decided to start coding the thing !

This isn't a XOOPS module, per se. But it is an excellent Open Source CBT-type SW package for training, policies & procedures, etc. The development team site is:Moodle. You can also read about it on SourceForge.
