A full description of the issue:I have found theat i cant get pictures to show up in my custom html blocks. I have tried using the image manager and image button on the register aswell as copy and paste from my html generator and typeing the //<img>//</img>// in manually but none of these things have worked.

yes i can do this in forum/comment posts but if i try to do it in a block it just displays the image URL and i have put the <IMG> tags around the url. The only major change i have made to my site is upgrade the forum to newbb 2.2

Double check to see if you're using the correct code. If you're setting the custom blocks as HTML, using the code
<img src="yoururl.com/yourimage.jpg">


should work. Please let us know if this isn't the case.

no this wouldnt work either. Ther images wont even show doing it through the image manager if i do the same thing in the forum or comments it does work

How do i post the code in here without the editor picking it up as HTML cause when i post it it just becomes the block i am trying to create

maybe that site has hotlink /anti leech protection. so you cant put their images on your site with their link.

to put code in the forums use the code tags. the button to add the code tag is Resized Image. if its multiple lines i put a space in the dialog box and push ok. and then paste the code between the tags.

and a tip when using the html image tag. dont forgot the http://

example:
<img src="https://xoops.org/themes/xooriginalnew/logo.png"/>

Well that should work. Hope those rows are there for a reason, because you have many with just a space in them.

Try deleting cache and template folder contents. What hapens when you do just simple. Just remove space in first img]

[ img]http://ccgi.curtiswood.plus.com/xoops/images/barxnews.jpg [/img]
