The default forum (fresh installation) for XOOPS is phpbb 1x...

Are there upgrades for this???

just curious.... I'll come back and keep all posted...

Use CBB fromhttp://xoopsforge.com/ .

It is the continued developement from newbb2.

I had it granted, then I uninstalled, and re-installed, set permission back to be viewed by everyone....

that's how any forum you install will look as long as it's wrapped in xoops. the only thing i can suggest is making the left column invisible when in the forum module and make all major navigation available at the top banner. that's what i did with my site.

On firefox the forum ends up very far down the page.

Not sure what the problem is, but it does work ok in internet exploder.

the forum fits in the default theme just fine, infact the default forum fits in the theme IMMA using... it's just the updated forum that don't fit...hmmm....
