that's how any forum you install will look as long as it's wrapped in xoops. the only thing i can suggest is making the left column invisible when in the forum module and make all major navigation available at the top banner. that's what i did with my site.

ya know, that looks way awesome when I do that, the only thing is when I try to hide the modlues in the forum, it ends up hiding the modules all over the site....

I think that the way it looks when the module blocks are not visible on the forum, it seems that the site has more depth that way... I deffinantly like it, just have to figure out, how I can remove the module blocks from the forum, but keep them on the rest of the site....Any ideas???

What does your site look like now? Got a URL?

The php-script used on bornslacker.com is a php-nuke template...

However, I think you might be able to achieve the same sort of effect, by using a 100% width span template, and you can adjust the block settings to be in the center...then adjust the center blocks weight (1 for top, 2 for bottom, or if you have like 6 things in the center, 6 weight would be the bottom)

hope this helps a lil bit,
