ok i have a problem which goes something like this:

i see users who registered, but when i edit them in profile module, i see that no Group is selected and that the account is still inactive...
i tried to register myself and then whenthe conformation e-mail was sent i went to edit this newly registered user and saw that he is assigned to Registered users and ofcourse inactive.
I activated the account via newlyusers email and everything worked well...
So i have a question, how come it happens sometimes that user is not assigned to no group?

In my opinion if he isn't assigned to group, he cannot activate tha account, so this is the problem.

Any help?

I'm getting crazy with this... I WILL PAY 8 DOLLARS VIA PAYPAL TO THE PERSON WHO SOLVES THIS TO ME! I know thats nothing but its all i can pay for this... please anyone help me on this...i cant stay like this..users have to register!

Hey reply with ur site's url so that somebody can really try registering on ur site. and also try to understand the problem as well in a much more clear way.

Also mention all the modules you have installed on ur site and wat version of XOOPS r u running.

I am running version 2.0.13.2 and you wont understand the language on my site, but the message i got is defined like this:

define("_AM_CNRNU","It wasn't possible to register a new member.");

If anyone know what cay cause the definition (_AM_CNRNU) to "go out" that may help to solve my problem...

First, change to the default theme and test a new registration. I say this because in an earlier post you mentioned trying to add some registration code yourself or something to that affect.

Secondly, and most likely, re-upload all your language files and make sure that the constants and translations are correct. For a test, you can upload the english language files and try to register.

Now, there is a good chance that none of the above will work. Sorry, I just popped online for a quick moment and couldn't leave your post un-answered with good concience.

Well none worked, but thanks a lot for your time, at least you give it a try...i've tried a lot of thing and none worked...
I think that if anyone knows the possibilities that causes that define(); i will find an anwer..i hope that some admin or someone that know can help me on this. But once again thanks a lot for answering
