Hello,

I have just installed XOOPS 2.2.4 and its running fine.
Then I have installed some modules (CBB3 + Private Messaging + Extended Profiles ) and it seems that they were installed successfully.
But after the installation I dont have any links in the main menu to these modules. Even in the Administration Menu are no links to administrate these modules (especially the CBB3 forum).

At the "Modules Administration" all modules are displayed as active.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem ?

Thanks for your help

...and sorry for my bad english.

Try this:

Go to Administration/system/preferences/general settings

Open the general settings and make sure you have set this to YES. Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

Then scroll down and click on GO.

Go back to your home page and see if it worked. Refreshing the page may be necessary.

If that doesn't work then:

Go to Administration/system/modules

Find the System Module (usually the first one).
To the right you will see a couple of icons. Hover your curser over them untill you find the one that says it will Update the Module (or something like that).

Click on it and follow any instructs/prompts.

Then return to your Home Page. Refresh may be necessary.

I'd check permissions, make sure that you have permission to view.

Go to Admin / users /groups and look there.

Or.... look at your user or admin block, make sure that is visible also.
