Hi,
software info is as follows:
XOOPS Version: 2.2.3 Final
Module Name/Version: CBB 2.2
PHP Version: 5.0.4 (using XAMPP for Windows)
MySQL Version: 4.1.13 MyISAM
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache 2.0.54
Operating System: Windows XP Pro
Theme you are using:xmt
Custom template: No

A full description of the issue:

ImageMagicK it seems, is needed by CBB.
The install page of CBB shows in red:
"ImageMagiCK: Not Available" and
"NetPBM: Not Available"
whereas I have got ImageMagick-6.2.4-6-Q8-windows-dll.exe and installed it on c:/ImageMagicK and have included it in the Windows System Path.

What else do I need to do to get ImageMagick detected by CBB? Also, it says in red
"XOOPS Poll module: Not avaliable". Is the Poll Module necessary for CBB? (Anyways, I will put it.)

TIA,
JS

imagemagic is not needed by cbb, it's optional as is netpbm.. GD or GD2 works fine. as for setting it up on windows, i dunno. but are you sure it is actually setup right with php?

yes the poll module is needed by cbb, but its only necessary if you want your users to be able to use polls..

About imagemagick, I had once set up Gallery, which needed either of ImageMagick or NetPBM. Gallery had worked fine this way - just needed to specify the path in some menu. So I assumed something similar is needed here.

About CBB,
let us assume that I do not need either ImageMagick or Polls for the time being, then, CBB should show up as something under the Main Menu, is it not? It isn't. What else do I have to do?

I had soem problem installing it first time. Soi uninstalled it. The system gave a proper "successfully removed" message as well. So I am missing something obvious. what could it be?

TIA,
JS

I am just installing it as I have noticed with the use of Koivi image editor, you can edit smilies and then with imagemagick you can animate it says, going to try and see, could be fun be playing super sizing the 300+ similes I have may try making a film, lol

Reason I am posting here is that I am just installing it for CBB and seeing how it works, haven't got a clue on how to install it unless I am supposed to be using ssl?

Is ther a post anywhere or FAQ?

I'm on CBB 3.0.8 and have ImageMagick installed in /usr/bin

The index page of CBB doesn't show ImageMagick as detected unless you actually select it as the 'Image library to use' in your preferences.

Hello there

I seem to be facing the same problem. I have installed this on a W2K3 server and the location i have installed imagemagick on the server is C:\Program Files\ImageMagick

the location of the XOOPS installation is C:\AppServ\www\portal

when it asks me
Path to ImageMagick/Netpbm 'convert' utility (example /usr/bin/X11/)

i honestly don't understand what is the path i am supposed to put. Can someone explain please what i am supposed to configure in this field for XCgallery to find imagemagick?
Should i install imagemagick in another location on the server inside portal ?

thank you
