Search module - and change the default 5 letters

I'm running XOOPS 2.0.6, and want to change the default number of letters from 5 back to 4. Our town name is Roma - so 4 makes sense.

Where can I alter this setting??

in admin, preferences.. somewhere in the system module.. think 2.0.6 is same layout as 2.0.13.2..

btw, you should really upgrade to the latest 2.0.6 was a buggy version superseded by 2.0.7.. it pays to keep current, and it's more secure for you aswell.

Thanks for the advice.
2 ques.

1)Can I upgrade to anear current version, or do I have to do them 1 by 1. Seems very tedious.

2) Can I be sure the modules I use will all be compatible with new versions of Xoops??
