CBB 1.15 on XOOPS 2.0.13.2...

The 'Recent Replied Topics' block has suddenly (well, I only just noticed it) started to only show a few characters and the rest is followed by dots. But some titles are longer than others - no apparent fixed length. The only thing I've done that I can think of that may have effected it is deleting the content of the templates_c folder and the cache folder during a recent editing of some pictures in MyAlbum. That was all though. No updates, or anything like that.

I've gone to edit the block, and every time I try to change the Display mode from 'Compact' to 'Full' (which is was on before) I get the 'Database Updated Correctly' message, but then it reverts back to Compact every time. In addition, the 'Allowed forum list' keeps changing too, and it keep unselecting several of my forums from the block! Laslty, I can't find a setting that states how long I want the title length of each topic to be.

Any one got any ideas - my main concern in the length of the title but I'd like to fix all of the above problems if possible?

I had this exact same problem on my site, forced me to use another forum block. I posted my problems on the developer's site but never got a solution.

It is still just funny to me why that block was the only block affected.

I'm glad I'm not alone then! I always find with XOOPS one tends to wonder if they're going mad after a while!

Does anyone know if the latest RC of CBB has fixed it (CBB 3.0 RC)? Seeing as I'm still on version 1.15?

Figured it out (partly)...

The problem relates to the custom selection of which forums to display in the block. If you click 'All' (as set as default) then there's no problem. But if you select particular forums unselecting the 'All' category, then the problem arises. As you can see, my block now looks OK as a result of changing the selection to all and simply adjusting the permissions in the forums themselves to ensure only I see the one's that I don't want others to see in the block.

I am about to PM phppp who I know likes to be notified of these things so that he can help.

I think it was fixed in CBB 2.32 (and CBB 1.16?), will check if for CBB 3.0
