If you use Windows, you can download the freeware program Filzip and extract .zip archives with it.

http://www.filzip.com/If you use Mac (OS X or later) or Linux, you should be able to extract the archive using the unzip command in a terminal (command prompt).
The syntax should go like so...
name@host> unzip filname.zip
