CBB - Feature request and bug reporting

With the closure of cbb.getituponline.com where can the 'feature request' and 'bug reporting' be found for CBB? As the project is not on dev.xoops.org and I cannot find them on xoopsforge.com

Cheers

It's not closed fully - but the forum will only exist as an archive since my failure to raise a team to assist Phppp on the development.

I've got to repair the database following a disaster I had during some work on it a couple of weeks ago - It will be back in an archive form then.

Try posting on the CBB forum here ... I think that would be best.

Re: CBB - Feature request and bug reporting

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. Would it be possible to set it up as a project on dev.xoops.org? I know there is newbb on there, but phppp is not listed as a developer for that module so I guess it's not being used any more. I really think it's important for members to be able to clearly log and keep track of feature requests and bug reports especially with CBB being such a major module.

I think the way Smartfactory works is very good, with a main site for the smart modules, but having the tracking for each module on dev.xoops.org

Just to add: Perhaps it would also be good to close NewBB on dev.xoops.org as it is no longer being developed.

You'd be best speaking to Phppp on that as i don't really do to much with the module now. (I only helped run and host the affore mentioned site.. )

(PS: to clarify - i'd love to be more involved with the module, but I don't have enough time now )

My old site for CBB is back up as an archive only. Posting permissions have been removed.

For clarification, can someone please enlighten us on what forum modules are being developed and which are no longer being developed.

I have so far seen mentioned in this thread that both CBB and newbb are no longer being developed as actively as in the past.

Maybe I'm overlooking something.

Yep - a quick visit to http://www.Xoopsforge.com shows: CBB 2.32 (for XOOPS 2.2.x) and CBB 1.16 (for XOOPS 2.0.x)

Newbb is replaced by cbb.

Ok, alright, thats what I thought. I was getting all discombobulated with the posts in this thread :-p

I'll be alright when the fog lifts.
