I recently installed two new XOOPS portals with version 2.0.13.2. Same server, same files uploaded. One of them will only show the default template nomatter what I select in the prefs. Gah!

Debug shows no errors
I compared permissions between the two, nothing
I tried completely deleting the database and files and reinstalling
In the xoops_config table of the database, the selected theme shows up fine.
The template sets work properly, just not the themes.

I'm just...mystified. It's probably something simple.

Any advice from the XOOPS wizards out there?

This one was bugging me too, until I found out it's a really simple solution: make sure that the theme you want to change to is selected in the 'selectable themes' list in the system admin -> preferences -> general settings page.
