Maybe Hervet could - but he is a busy person, so will probably incorporate this at a later date.

SMD will release the module, hervet has planned the features for version 2 of the module, which will be fit for XOOPS 2.3/2.4, so don't wait for that.

And one thing I'd like to make very clear. A lot of people can *want* something very very bad, but is that an order to a developer to spend his scarce free time on actually making that? I want a lot of things, and I learnt that if I *really* want them, I have to do it myself or make sure it happens. In both cases this requires I take action myself.
I thought this was a community, where people gladly gave their free time to help other people out. Not a commercial company with hundreds of shareholders taking the profits but not paying the staff...

Fastian,

I have made a "best of" of your "posts" in this thread :
Quote:

I have asked for this feature in more than 3 threads about 3/4 months ago. But till now
The onlly reply they ever got from a DEV was "this is a slightly modified version of spotlight modulr"
I just think that Devs listen to the requests what they think important to them
I bet on it, this feature is not coming at all. You may get some hope here but at the end u will not get nothing.
This is some SECRET HACK and the DEV dont want to share it.
I guess DEV should consider to release it
Please please. Release it
why don’t the DVE consider it the request to release the hack that do that.
May be hervet can do some modification to news module itself that can give something like we have here.
Is there any way that the voice of the users can be heard?

You should consider two things :
- Devs are not gods
- Devs are not your slave

** EDIT **
I did not made this hack, I don't want this hack and I don't need it so why should I do it ????
** /EDIT ***

Bye,
Hervé (very angry)

Some folks don't get the point - it's open - it's free - it's source. There are versions of versions, you just have to look around. No permission needed! Good job Hervet!

hmm http://www.xoopsmalaysia.org seems down - does anyone have a demo of this module - I've got it running - however it seem to insert a space between each line, which looks daft - I just want to know if it's me or the code! ;)
