I'm just upgraded to XOOPS 2.2.3a and i'm using newbb 2.02

After the upgrade, signatures in the forum show up fine the first time in a thread but show up as html code the second time in a thread. Does anybody know what's causing this?

example

Thanks

perhaps instead of self closing tags you could try it old school with </img>

but the code shows up like this in the forum the second time...

br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.arches.uga.edu/~slope/hellsing.gif" alt="" />

I wish I can post with an answer but unfortunately I have the same problem. Anyone figure this out in the month since the last post?

Thanks!

I too have this problem but mine was a clean install and I've tried both NewBB2 and CBB and both have this problem. I have tried it on 2 different servers with different platforms as well and it does it

I've found where the problem lies. Here is a snippet of the sig section from one that actually shows the image:

<tr>
<td colspan="2" class="odd" valign="bottom">
<div class="signature">
_________________<br>
<img src="http://...image.jpg" alt="">
</div>
</td>
</tr>

And a sniipet from the broken sig:

<tr>
<td colspan="2" class="odd" valign="bottom">
<div class="signature">
_________________<br>
<img src="<a href="http://...image.jpg%22" target="_blank">http://...image.jpg"</a> alt="" /></div>
</td>
</tr>

It seems to break the html code for the less than/greater than symbols into its special character codes.

Dunno how to fix it tho

Seems to me that the last (end) quote should be after the closing anchor tag and not before.
