I've found where the problem lies. Here is a snippet of the sig section from one that actually shows the image:

And a sniipet from the broken sig:

</tr>

It seems to break the html code for the less than/greater than symbols into its special character codes.

Dunno how to fix it tho

I too have this problem but mine was a clean install and I've tried both NewBB2 and CBB and both have this problem. I have tried it on 2 different servers with different platforms as well and it does it

I'm still uncertain what to do with this one? I currently have a links bar up the top and I'd really like the mail link to show something like ' Mail (2)' or something similar. If I create a new custom block (or edit the current link bar) and paste the code in, under html, it just shows code, if I make the custom block php then it displays nothing at all. Do I have to create php file? If so, how do I pull it into my custom block?

I've had a bit of a troll thru the forums but no-one else seems to have remotely the same problem that I do. I'm using XOOPS 2.33 Final and NewBB 2.0 and I have a few users who have accounts and have linked images for their sigs. When they post on the forum in a thread for the first time, their sig image displays normally. However, any further posting to the same thread, it only shows the url link and not the image.

I also have created a test server to test this problem (wondering if it was a local issue) and it is using CBB instead of NewBB and it does the same thing. It doesn't seem to happen on this site so what is the secret? Am I missing something like some setting that causes signiture images to display all the time?
