Hi

Am using xyp4all as a listing module, but have noticed that anything entered in the 'city' field is returned twice in final viewed page, for instance:

Her Maj. Queen Elizabeth
Buck House
London London
ER11 HM10

As a definite non-coder and all round XOOPS novice, any ideas would be very welcome.

Thanks

PH

thanks for the reply Lazy badger. I have the latest version installed.

Which particular template needs to be edited and which $link.city line? I have opened the listingfull.html template and tried to delete the various $link.city entries there, but nothing seems to be working.

Thanks for the help so far.

Has a filename/line number ever been identified as the culprit for this double posting of the city name? I have the xyp_listingfull.html template open, which I think should be the right one, but I'm not confident that I'm about to delete the corect thing.

Anyone?

Okay, I figured it out. The file is indeed xyp_listingfull. My lines 18, 19, and 20 of code look like this.

le="color: #000000"><?php 18 <{/if}> 19 <{$link.city}> 20 <{if $link.city != ""}><{$link.city}>, <{/if}> <{$link.state}> <{$link.zip}><br>

The <{$link.city}> on line 19 has to go. Re-upload the file, go to your module admin page, and then update the module.

Empty your browsers cache and take a look at one of your listings. The double city listing should be gone.

I was reckless and did this without backing up my database first (prolly not necessary, but what do I know about MySQL sites?
