'Forgot Password?' not working

Hi

Have searched through the forums and elsewhere but cannot find a solution to this. Am using XOOPS 2.0.10 (I know I should update, but really worried the site will be messed-up).

Anyway, when users (including me as webmaster) fill-out the 'forgotten password' box, nothing happens. The page redirects as normal, but nothing is forwarded to the registered email addresses.

If anybody has any ideas, that would be great.

xyp4all email subject line and redirect page

Hi

Have searched evrywhere for info, but still no result. As someone with no PHP experience, how do i change the subject line in the xyp4all module email function from 'Hello - and then name of the title listing' e.g. 'Hello John Smith' to something like 'referal from www.abc.com'? I know it is in the contact.php page, but no idea how to change it.

Also, the redirect page after the email button has been clicked goes nowhere and simply redirects to url: mailto:someone@anyisp.com?subject=Hello%20Mr%20John%20Smith.

Any ideas how to change this would be very much appreciated.

Hi

I have searched the forums but cannot find an answer to this - although somebody has asked the question before without reply.

I have implemented mypage for some custom modules and can access them when logged in, but not as annonymous.

They do not show up on the module list within groups.

I am running 2.0.13.1

Any help would be really appreciated.

How do I use two versions of the same module without conflicts?

I need to use two instances of the xyp4all module on my site. I've read about cloning the module, but this seems a very complicated method. Is there an easier way?

adding new fields to registration form

Hello All

I urgently need to add new fields to the user registration form (the details must also be sent to the webmaster in the activation email so that the person registering can be correctly identified and validated before their registration is activated).

I have trawled the forums for info on this, but can only find Alpha Foxtrot's hack - this would be great but I cannot make head nor tail of the Spanish translation to be confident of making the changes to the site without serious risk of losing everything.

If anybody knows any English language hacks - or can advise in basic language (that an idiot like me can understand), I would be very grateful.

thanks for the reply Lazy badger. I have the latest version installed.

Which particular template needs to be edited and which $link.city line? I have opened the listingfull.html template and tried to delete the various $link.city entries there, but nothing seems to be working.

Hi

Am using xyp4all as a listing module, but have noticed that anything entered in the 'city' field is returned twice in final viewed page, for instance:

Her Maj. Queen Elizabeth
Buck House
London London
ER11 HM10

As a definite non-coder and all round XOOPS novice, any ideas would be very welcome.
