Changing the name of "Inbox"

Because I have XIPB [which is amazing btw - great work by BBPixel for posting it] - The same place at "Inbox" takes care of signatures, avatars, and everything much better than the XOOPS "Edit Account" itself..

Anyway, what I want to do is change the name of Inbox to "Control Panel" and take out "Edit Account"/"View Account".

Any way?

change the word is very easy (see translation files) but I'm not sure that's just you want

You can use Dreamweaver to find this word exactly, do a serach on the site and change these word.

Alright, thanks guys, fixed it. For anybody who wishes to learn later on and happens to stumble upon my post:

I went to admin panel [templates admin], listed the "System" templates on the template I was using. I went to the "user_block" template. I [made a source backup first and] removed viewuser, and changed edituser's link and title to:

<{"Control Panel"}>

For any of the PHP newbs out there like me

if you've selected to use x-ipb control panel in x-ipb admin bb settings/ common settings..

then there should be no need to edit the user menu..

inbox should take you straight to your messages in x-ipb with the link > http://yoursite.com/index.php?act=Msg&CODE=01

edit account should take you to your account screen, where u can change everything on your profile.. with the link >
http://yoursite.com/edituser.php

there is no reason to link directly to viewpmsg.php

bb settings in x-ipb admin if set right willo do all that for you..
