I need to know how to either FTP files to my XOOPS site or I need to know how to add files via the File Manager in the WF -Section. I have tried selecting a file in the File Manger to Upload, however I am receiving the error message "Path is not writable %s."

Basically what I am trying to do is upload some images to use for various ad boxes that are contained in Blocks.

Thank you in advance for any suggestion, pointer, or hints on how to accomplish this!

Have you tried to CHMOD the folder where you're trying to upload your items to something writeable, such as 777 or 775?

Well, I don't have direct access to the server (I'm in Denver, the server is in Austin, lol)

You need an FTP Client, try Smart FTP

Another good one is Filezilla (but only available for Windows, I think).

If you just have a few images, you can actually upload them directly through XOOPS' built in image manager (admin => system => image manager).

For details of how it works, see the XOOPS Operations Guide
