Hello.

I'm using XooPs 2.2.3 .
Apache
PHP 4.3.11
Mysql 4.0.24
Now the question is, which Downloads Module is
compatible with my requirements ?.

WF-Downloads 2.05a is the downloads module that you would get from the Community module pack for XOOPS 2.2.x

This should work fine with your current setup.

I have mydownloads running on a 2.2.3 site, there is no problem that I can see, I just guess that the work on mydownloads has come to an end?

Hello Dave, thank you for your answer, well i did try
WF-Downloads 2.05a and i did follow the install information,
I CHMODDED to 777:
wfdownloads/images
wfdownloads/images/category
wfdownloads/images/category/thumbs
wfdownloads/images/screenshots
wfdownloads/images/screenshots/thumbs.

But i cann't upload anything, the upload link is missing !
got me.

Sorry bud, I use the downloads module slightly different, I don't upload to the server so can't help.

I would guess your best bet would be the wf-projects forum for wf-downloads:

Downloads which will work:
PDdownloads
Mydownloads (standard module)
RM+Soft Downloads Plus 1.2 (interesting module. Look for other topic there is an english translation available. http://www.xoops-mexico.net/modules/rmdp/down.php?id=22)

You enabled upload in the module preferences for the group you want to allow uploads?

As webmaster i would always prefer ftp anyway ;)

Hello again.
What i mean is that i, as webmaster not been able to upload any files, 'cos as i said before there is no upload
link, or whatever is called.
I did have Downloads before with older versions and it was fine.
Anyway , thanks a lot.

PS) was it you Bender, who asked a few days ago for
older versions of XooPs ?, i have a couple.
