Is there a download module that have a more detailed "recent dowload block"? I'm looking for a recent download block with an image for every category... anyone know if it exist?.. or how todo that?

Try with RM Downloads Plus 1.2, have everything features requested by you and more, the problem is - only Spanish language is available, English translation was missed somewhere by XOOPS Translations, sorry.

Here is the link to the latst module version, Bulgarian language is also available, but I dont think u will need it :)

WF-Downloads also the best choice.

Depend on XOOPS version, if u're using XOOPS 2.0.13xx - use WF-Downloads 2.0.5a, if u pick the latest final 2.2.3a - dont try the buged patch WF-Downloads 2.0.5b, pick RM+Soft Downloads, PD-Downloads 1.2 or WMP Downloads 1.1 or even MyDownloads 1.10 from XOOPS 2.0.13.2 distribution.

I agree that wf-downloads does need a lot of work, although it works better with 2.2.x with the latest bug fix.

I try it.. but the "recent download block" have only download's name and number of download (like WF-Downloads)... i would like to have an image near the download's name to differentiate the category. There is a way to do that?

However both modules are very good.

DC - you are right, some more work does need doing on WF-Downloads to deal with the issue you mention.

We are working on something for this module, and will give more information closer to the time.

There is a featured downloads block in RM+Soft Downloads, which can be used as Recent Downloads, it shows screenshot per product if u have, if not just XOOPS Mexico Logo.

Thru the language files, u can make a different fork :)
