The above is what all my Registered Users are getting when trying to access the forum. I have just updated to NewBB 2/CBB 1.15 and I am sure it relates to permissions but my mind has gone blank... Webmasters can get access no problem at all and everything looks perfect in the forum...for the life of me I cant work out the access rights they need and how I do it...

Please help am going mad tonight!

what XOOPS version you using.. and are you using newbb2 opr CBB?

Im using XOOPS XOOPS 2.0.13.2

And used CBB 1.15

I can set a Webmaster up if anyone wants to have a peer into it??

Hi,

first of all make sure registered users have access to the module. (system->groups->registered users)

Then assign this group the correct permissions for each forum.
Click on edit in the administration area for each forum and assign the proper permissions.
Registered users should now be able to see/use the forums as you see fit.

Thank you once again Highlander... they now have access... but it seems that they see NO POSTS... there 110 topics and 1152 total posts, which is what its telling them at the top right... but all forums have nothing in them....

Am lost!!

make sure you have done:
1 update the module
2 set permissions for groups, including module wide, category and forum
3 empty tempalte_c folder
4 if you use themes other than "default", the themes should also be updated as well(not always)

I know it can be a little bit of an uphill struggle when you first start using XOOPS but keep at it and within a very short period you'll think its the best thing since sliced bread.
